The gorges de Saint-Aubert, a seven-kilometre-long valley, follow the Lac de Rabodanges. It's a wild and grandiose setting, with rocky, wooded slopes. The fact that they belong to the world of granite reinforces their deeply singular character, as at La Pierre Plate, where blocks of granite have been completely weathered by the current to become rounded rocks with varying degrees of mossiness. Traces of otters, thought to be endangered in the Orne valley, can be found here. An indicator of a preserved environment. Access from the Rabodanges dam: from the lookout on the left, take the path on the right about 100 m further on.
