After the abandonment of the camp, life resumed in the plain where it was easier to live and work.
After the medieval period, the Camp was used for agriculture and then gradually returned to nature. Since the 19th century, however, it has been the object of growing historical interest, which has allowed us to understand its history.
Restoration work:
Every year, and since 1984, a volunteer workcamp brings the Camp back to life, contributing to its restoration and maintenance.
