L'aménagement de cette zone humide a permis à la commune de revaloriser ce milieu naturel typique des bords de Sienne.
Afin de la faire découvrir au plus grand nombre, les parcours ont été optimisés avec des installations attractives, minimisant l'impact sur le milieu naturel.
Un ponton handi-pêche et une halte équestre ont également été intégrés sur le site.
