Promenade chantée : De l'Église à la Chapelle d'Hautmesnil
Description
Après une première visite organée l'an dernier, le Pays d'art et d'histoire du Cotentin renouvelle son invitation à découvrir le patrimoine d'Hautmesnil sous un nouveau jour. Cette année, la visite prendra la forme d'une déambulation entre la nouvelle église et la chapelle Hautmesnil, mêlant histoire, architecture, sciences du patrimoine et musique traditionnelle.
Accompagnée par La Loure, association dédiée à la collecte et à la valorisation des traditions orales de Normandie, la visite sera ponctuée de chants et de morceaux issus de collectages réalisés localement. Les interventions musicales accompagneront les différentes étapes du parcours et laisseront également place à des moments de chant participatif, pour une découverte conviviale et sensible du patrimoine.
Durée : 2h.
Prévoir des chaussures adaptées à la marche.
Promenade non accessible PMR - Animaux autorisés si tenus en laisse.
Réservation nécessaire auprès de l'office de tourisme du Cotentin.
Following an initial tour organized last year, the Cotentin Region of Art and History is once again inviting visitors to discover Hautmesnil’s heritage in a new light. This year, the tour will take the form of a stroll between the new church and the Hautmesnil chapel, blending history, architecture, heritage studies, and traditional music.
Organized in partnership with La Loure, an association dedicated to collecting and promoting the oral traditions of Normandy, the tour will feature songs and pieces drawn from local collections. Musical performances will accompany the various stops along the route and will also include opportunities for participatory singing, offering a friendly and meaningful exploration of the heritage.
Duration: 2 hours.
Please wear shoes suitable for walking.
This walk is not accessible to people with reduced mobility—pets are allowed if kept on a leash.
Reservations are required through the Cotentin Tourist Office.
