Rendons hommage en musique à René Urtreger, figure majeure du jazz français et dernier grand témoin de l’âge d’or du be‑bop. Pianiste au toucher unique, compagnon de route de Miles Davis, Lester Young, Chet Baker, Stan Getz et tant d’autres, il a traversé près de sept décennies de création musicale avec une élégance rare, faite de swing, de retenue et d’émotion profonde.
René a aussi contribué à l’âge d’or de la variété française dans les années 60 avec notamment Serge Gainsbourg et Claude François.
Autour de sa famille, de ses amis du Perche, de musiciens qui ont partagé sa route, ce concert célébrera l’homme autant que l’artiste : un musicien libre, exigeant, pudique, dont la sensibilité et la force intérieure ont marqué des générations.
Ensemble, nous célébrerons l’artiste autant que l’ami.

A pianist with a unique touch and a longtime collaborator of Miles Davis, Lester Young, Chet Baker, Stan Getz, and so many others, he spanned nearly seven decades of musical creation with a rare elegance, marked by swing, restraint, and deep emotion.
René also contributed to the golden age of French pop in the 1960s, notably with Serge Gainsbourg and Claude François.
