Description

VIVA! is a true story about a Spanish family torn apart by the Civil War and Franco’s dictatorship. On stage, a desk. In its drawers, objects—chalk, tape, a stapler, a pencil sharpener—attempt to reconstruct history. Without ever forgetting the redemptive power of humor, VIVA! explores the weight of silences, the collective responsibility lurking within individual actions, and celebrates the ability of a society—and a family—to heal and transform itself.
A program presented as part of a partnership between C’61 and Flers Agglo.
