Exposition - "L'Amour à l'œuvre. Dialogue avec Julie Ozanne"
Description

An invitation to explore love in all its forms, from seduction to the great tales of passion.
The exhibition features a dialogue between classic works from the Château de Flers museum, those from other museums in Normandy and those from the Fonds départemental d?art contemporain de l?Orne (works by Fanny Ferré, Jean-Claude Tardivo, Anne Bothuon, Luciano Ferrara, etc.).
Objects, gallant scenes, wedding rituals and timeless symbols reveal how art and tradition have represented the impulses of the heart. Between emotions, love games and mythical stories, the exhibition also explores family love - maternal and paternal - through scenes of tenderness and transmission.
Guest artist Julie Ozanne brings a contemporary perspective to the exhibition, challenging traditional visions of love. With her traced, sewn and sometimes thread-scarred bodies, her works resonate with seduction, but also from a more intimate angle: that of the body exposed, desired, watched, but also fragile.
With works by Fanny Ferré, Tardivo, Anne Bothuon, Luciano Ferrara? from the collection of the Fonds départemental d?art contemporain de l?Orne.
