Concert : Eloïz
Description
Catapulted into the spotlight with “Hey Bro”, written and composed at the age of 16 and which went platinum, and then cementing her success with “Comment tu vas ?” (a gold single), Eloïz has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices on the French music scene.
But what is it about the myth of the United States that so fascinates a 26-year-old northern French woman, to the point of making it the beating heart of her music? The answer lies as much in the melodies as in the symbols. For beyond the banjo, guitars and violins, it is a vision – that of a free and vast elsewhere – that drives her.
Like an entire generation in search of meaning and new horizons, Eloïz has made the plains of the Far West her creative territory.
In 2025, Eloïz returns with *Les Grands Espaces*, a second album in which her musical identity – a blend of folk, pop and country – is fully realised. In it, she sings of freedom, resilience and raw emotions.
From “Song for You”, the first single with its unstoppable groove, to “Les Grands Espaces”, “Americana” and “Bye Bye”, the urge to dance is immediate, even if the lyrics aren’t always soothing. Collaborations with Florent Pagny and Gaëtan Roussel further enhance the emotional depth of this generous and sincere album.
After performing “On sera là”, composed by Jean-Jacques Goldman, and “La Marseillaise” at the 14 July parade, Eloïz continues her summer tour before setting the autumn alight with this sincere, luminous and free-spirited album.
