Théâtre "Reset"
Description
» Isabelle Quantin
À partir de 13 ans.
20h30 au théâtre municipal de Coutances.
Réservation obligatoire.
Life Is Stronger Than Anything
Jeanne wakes up in a psychiatric hospital. She doesn’t understand and wishes she were anywhere but there. Amid fragmented memories, stories she makes up, and conversations with a missing brother, Jeanne tries to understand what led her there. Faced with the reality of involuntary hospitalization, she seeks to regain control.
*Reset* explores the tipping point of a teenager who wants to erase everything and start over: to hit “reset” and give herself a second chance. On stage, performed live, Mathias Guilbaud’s music and sounds are like a heartbeat, reminding us that life is right there and that we must seize it.
For this second play as a playwright—following *Alice Is 17*—Isabelle Quantin delivers a sensitive and moving script, brought to life by remarkable actors and actresses.
%AB (?) The theme of *Reset* is not a critique of psychiatry, nor does it point a finger at mental disorders in a crude way: *Reset* tells the story of a teenager struggling in this world that has been imposed on her. %BB Isabelle Quantin
