Description
The Rise and Fall of David Bowie a été écrit et monté pour les 10 ans de la mort de David Bowie avec l’orchestre symphonique l’H-ékosi Wind Band de la Saison Musicale d’Hérouville.
L’envie est vite apparue de faire vivre ce spectacle au-delà de cette commande pour 35 musiciens et de l’adapter pour une formation plus légère, créée pour l’occasion Le Lazarus 4tet (Chant - piano - basse – batterie).
Le comédien Yohann Allex raconte la vie de David Bowie à travers 3 personnages qui l’ont côtoyé. Il interprète tour à tour, Terry Burns, demi-frère de Bowie, véritable mentor pour son jeune frère encore adolescent, Iggy Pop, son compagnon artistique de Los Angeles à Berlin et Philip Glass qui réorchestra en symphonies dans les années 90, comme par effet de miroir, les 3 albums dits de la trilogie Berlinoise.

*The Rise and Fall of David Bowie* was written and staged to mark the 10th anniversary of David Bowie’s death, featuring the H-ékosi Wind Band, the symphony orchestra of the Saison Musicale d’Hérouville.
It soon became clear that we wanted to take this production beyond the original commission for 35 musicians and adapt it for a smaller ensemble, the Lazarus 4tet (vocals, piano, bass, drums), created especially for the occasion.
The actor Yohann Allex recounts David Bowie’s life through three characters who knew him well.
