Vingt ans de carrière, quinze albums édités et bientôt son huitième en solo. Tom Poisson avance calmement dans un monde qui va vite. Les contours de ce nouveau disque sont simples et sincères : la masculinité, les rides au coin des yeux, le 47e président des États-Unis d’Amérique, la maladie d’Alzheimer, le couple, la joie, l’envie… Voilà pour l’essentiel. Dans la forme, on retrouve une écriture imagée et poétique plutôt que trop explicite mais Tom sait nous prendre par la main pour nous faire comprendre et pour nous faire toucher du doigt.
