Description
Pourquoi l’axe de la Terre est penché ? Comment la vie s’est développée sur les continents ? Combien d’extinctions de masse le vivant a-t-il connu et pourquoi ? Savoir d’où l’on vient est utile pour savoir où l'on va.
La Marche du Temps Profond permet de se reconnecter à nos origines au cours de 4,6 km de promenade facile en pleine nature. De découvrir les 4,6 milliards d'années d'histoire de la Terre et revivre, pas après pas, chaque événement significatif de l'émergence et l’évolution de la vie sur Terre.
Cette marche autour du Mont-Canisy, avec un départ et un retour depuis la plage des Ammonites à Bénerville-sur-Mer, invite à vivre une expérience ludique, sensorielle, instructive et poétique, pour se reconnecter au temps long, à nos ancêtres et à l’ensemble du Vivant sur Terre.
La balade est entrecoupée de temps d'échanges en binôme, tout en profondeur et authenticité.
La marche du temps profond est une expérience pédagogique créée en 2007 par Stephan Harding et Sergio Maraschin au Schumacher College (UK). Raphael Monnot, ingénieur expert du changement climatique, formateur et conférencier est le guide pour cette marche.
A partir de 13 ans (et passionnés de SVT).
Accessibilité : non adapté aux poussettes et chaises roulantes.
Les participants doivent être en condition pour une marche lente pendant 4,6 km avec de nombreux arrêts

The ‘March of Deep Time’ trail allows us to reconnect with our origins over a 4.6 km easy walk through the heart of the countryside. Discover the Earth’s 4.6 billion-year history and relive, step by step, every significant event in the emergence and evolution of life on Earth.
This walk around Mont-Canisy, starting and finishing at Ammonites Beach in Bénerville-sur-Mer, invites you to enjoy a fun, sensory, informative and poetic experience, helping you reconnect with the long span of time, with our ancestors and with all living things on Earth.
The walk is punctuated by moments of in-depth and authentic discussion in pairs.
The Deep Time Walk is an educational experience created in 2007 by Stephan Harding and Sergio Maraschin at Schumacher College (UK). Raphael Monnot, an engineer specialising in climate change, trainer and speaker, will be the guide for this walk.
Suitable for ages 13 and over (and those with a passion for life and earth sciences).
Accessibility: not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
Participants must be fit enough to walk slowly for 4.6 km with numerous stops
