Dans le cadre du Cinquantenaire de la disparition d'André Malraux.
Les peintres ne vivent pas seulement dans leur atelier. Ils investissent aussi le livre, l’affiche, le récit illustré.
Cet accrochage présente une sélection d’ouvrages illustrés par Fernand Léger et André Mare.
Car nos deux peintres ne vivent pas seulement dans leur atelier :
Ils investissent aussi le livre, l’affiche, le récit illustré. On découvre comment chacun conserve sa signature artistique tout en répondant à un projet d’illustration. Loin d’être une simple activité secondaire,
ces collaborations révèlent une autre facette de leur création.
C'est aussi dans les années 1920 que le jeune André Malraux fréquente l'avant-garde artistique, dont naîtra une collaboration avec Fernand Léger.
En 1921 paraît Lunes en papier, signé de Malraux et de Léger, dont il sera également question dans
cet accrochage.

This exhibition presents a selection of works illustrated by Fernand Léger and André Mare.
For our two painters do not live solely in their studios:
They also venture into books, posters, and illustrated stories. We discover how each maintains his artistic signature while contributing to an illustration project. Far from being merely a secondary activity,
these collaborations reveal another facet of their creative work.
It was also in the 1920s that the young André Malraux moved in artistic avant-garde circles, which led to a collaboration with Fernand Léger.
In 1921, *Lunes en papier* was published, co-authored by Malraux and Léger, and this work will also be featured in
