Promenade du CAUE "des arbres conteurs"

Sous la voûte des chemins creux, les arbres du bocage se penchent, se serrent et allongent leurs silhouettes vers le soleil. Au croisement de deux chemins, l’arbre devient un repère dans nos trajets quotidiens. Les alignements d’arbres soulignent la platitude des marais… Et tout le long du parcours, on croise des jardins plantés de jeunes et vieux arbres… Qui sont ces arbres ? Quels rôles jouent-ils dans les souvenirs et dans notre quotidien ? Planterais-je un arbre demain ? Les arbres se racontent par eux-mêmes et dans le témoignage des habitants.

Under the vault of the sunken paths, the trees of the bocage bend, tighten and lengthen their silhouettes towards the sun. At the crossroads of two paths, the tree becomes a landmark in our daily journeys. The rows of trees underline the flatness of the marshes... And all along the route, we come across gardens planted with young and old trees... Who are these trees? What role do they play in our memories and in our daily lives? Would I plant a tree tomorrow? The trees tell their own stories and those of their inhabitants.
