Le site de Sainte-Eugénie - Point 2 La vallée de la Dives

Vous êtes ici en lisière de la forêt domaniale de Grande Gouffern. Du haut de la motte, le point de vue est remarquable. La Dives s’écoule du sud-est au nord-ouest au milieu d’une vaste plaine de cultures ouvertes. En arrière-plan, se dessine l’escarpement occidental du pays d’Auge couvert d’herbages et de petits bois. Parmi ces collines, on aperçoit le Mont-Ormel.

You are here on the edge of the state forest of Grande Gouffern. From the top of the motte, the view is remarkable. The Dives flows from south-east to north-west in the middle of a vast plain of open crops. In the background, the western escarpment of the Pays d'Auge covered with grasslands and small woods can be seen. Among these hills, we can see the Mont-Ormel.
