Square Louis-Braille

Dénommé Louis-Braille en hommage à l’inventeur de l’écriture tactile, le square du 106 rue Basse propose aux curieux un parcours sensoriel autour des plantes à voir, à goûter, à sentir et à entendre.

Partie prenante de l’évolution du lieu, l’association Latra (Laboratoire de transcription et de recherche pour aveugles) y établit ses quartiers chaque lundi et mardi après-midi dès le début du printemps.

Named Louis-Braille in homage to the inventor of tactile writing, the square at 106 rue Basse offers the curious a sensory trail of plants to see, taste, smell and hear.

The Latra association (Laboratoire de transcription et de recherche pour aveugles - transcription and research laboratory for the blind) has been a key player in the development of the site, setting up quarters here every Monday and Tuesday afternoon from early spring onwards.
