Musée Mémorial d'Omaha Beach

Plongez au cœur de l’histoire du débarquement sur Omaha Beach. À 200 m de la plage, le musée rend hommage depuis 32 ans aux soldats américains débarqués. Une large collection d’objets d'époque (effets personnels, uniformes, armes, véhicules), photos, documents d’archives et film documentaire de 25 min accompagné de témoignages de vétérans mettent en lumière le courage de ces hommes et femmes venus pour notre liberté. With an exhibition area of 1,400m², located just 200 m from Omaha Beach, the Memorial Museum will help you dive into the heart of the landing story.

Since more than 25 years, in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer, the museum pays tribute to the soldiers who landed on our beaches. With their many dioramas, pictures and thematic display panels, they showcase chronologically the events from the German occupation to the American landing on Omaha Beach.

Visit at your own pace and discover:
- A wounderful collection of personnal objects, historic documents, archival photographs, vehicules, uniforms and weapons;
- Documentary film (25 minutes) featuring American Veteran's testimonies.
